Purpose of Job
The Senior Manager of Production Control & Procurement is responsible to to maintain on time production and 100% customer satisfaction. This position leads a team responsible from procuring materials to support production/customer demand meeting inventory targets. This position also is responsible for developing short term and long term production plans that meets planned capacity, inventory targets, and on time customer satisfaction.
Major Duties/Responsibilities

- Direct and support Supply Chain departmental activities to support production. Lead managers and supervisors to achieve set inventory levels and production plans. Manage to and report performance against KPI targets. Lead collaboration with engineering, production, and quality to prepare the organization for best practices and smooth start-ups.
- Business Plan & Strategic Contributions: analyze current state for efficiency and competitiveness; propose, implement, and manage improvement projects; measure and report on the impact of activities. Implement and maintain control systems consistent with lean, just-in-time production and delivery methodologies. Evaluate and analyise inventory levels and drive improvements. Liaise & collaborate with other departments and NSNA organization as required to support the overall goals for North American.
- Manage department: Develop and mentor leadership team to offer best-in-class practices to the organization, develop budgets and report actual performance to executives. Model and train on root-cause analysis methods to drive improvements to processes and tools.
- Support management of ancilliary services including Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives.
