APQP Engineer

Ensure the implementation of the APQP process to successfully carry out the new product introduction stages, trials and production, coordinating the launching of new models in close communication with cross-functional teams, managing the implementation of engineering changes across this launching stage.

Collaborate in the process of effective execution of corrective actions and/or continuous improvement derived from internal issues (CARs) or external (PIRs), reviewing and communicating new model DCNs, plus ensuring compliance with PPAP client requirements.

Carry out the update of procedures for new models, while ensuring meeting timetables and project milestones, e.g. trials and production floor follow-ups, project kick-offs, cross-functional meetings, checkpoints, progress and internal program.

Experience starting from 3 years within areas and responsibilities handling NPI projects, DCNs, trials, employing the APQP/PPAP methodology, management of supporting document system, carrying out cross-functional communication to advance launching projects.

Knowledge and use of CoreTools (PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, SPC), IATF16949: 2016 standard, Lean Manufacturing and Problem-Solving tools, ISO14001, client specific requirements of automotive industry.
